Finland activity
The association is chaired by Jari Vähänen, a former senior Veikkaus executive who now works as an industry consultant. He is also the source of the widely reported estimate that Veikkaus could be worth up to €4.5 billion following liberalisation.
It should not be confused with Rahapeliala ry, the trade association founded by international operators to campaign for licensing. The two have different memberships and different purposes, and both use English names that translate similarly.
