Finland activity
Kindred, now part of FDJ United, has a named executive responsible for the Finnish market: Joel Hakamies, general manager for Finland and Estonia. Commenting on the reform's approval in December 2025, he described the overall picture as fairly positive from the group's view and said that for planning purposes it would have been better for the timeline to be settled sooner, because uncertainty blurs the horizon.
That is a market-entry posture rather than a filing. Kindred has not confirmed a Finnish licence application, and we have no sourced record of one. The company appears frequently on speculative lists of expected applicants, which is not the same thing.
